CREATING FERTILE GROUND: Qi Gong & Traditional Chinese Medicine for Fertility Series

The human body is like a garden, and we are the gardener who tends it. Plants innately know how to flourish through every phase of their growth cycle in a well aerated, rich, hydrated, fertile environment.* Yet, when the garden is unhealthy, overgrown with weeds, inundated with, or depleted of hydration or vital nutrients, the environment is no longer optimal for these natural processes to occur. Then plants become choked, wither, discolor, drop leaves, stop producing fruit, weaken, and eventually die.

When the Life Force, Vital Energy, or Qi (pronounced chee) is stagnant, or becomes blocked, this results in imbalances in the organ systems of the body. When these organ systems are out of balance, we experience symptoms, such as infertility, which are signals that we need to release the blockages, so the Qi can move freely, allowing these systems to function optimally. Health is not the absence of dis-ease or symptoms, but a vital flow and balance of the Yin and Yang energies in the body.

Join Qi Gong Therapist Katrin Naumann for this workshop to learn how knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine’s 5 Elements Theory, and Qi Gong exercises can aid you in cultivating the optimal environment in your body for conception, and carrying pregnancy to term. Wear comfortable clothing and you may wish to take notes.
