CNY Fertility & CNY Healing Arts are excited to announce the launch of our new Childbirth Education classes! We will be offering a “Graduate” Seminar for those transitioning into the next season of their pregnancy journey and an informative and interactive 4 week childbirth series. A one day class will also be offered as a condensed option of our 4 week series.
CNY Fertility Graduate Seminar: Thursdays, 6 – 7:30pm FREE
In this seminar we will cover what comes after your time at CNY. We begin with what to expect at your first OB/Midwife appointment and what is happening in your body during the first and second trimester. We will also cover ways to manage the symptoms you are facing as well as the emotional changes you may be experiencing. Bring your questions, we’ve got answers!
Confident & Informed Birthing : An interactive and fun learning experience for you and your support person to equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to make informed decisions throughout your pregnancy & birth. Throughout this class you will build community, practice comfort techniques, learn valuable information and gain confidence as you prepare for birth.
- 4-Week Series: Tuesdays, 6-8pm: $160/Mom + support person, snacks included

Meet Your Educators
Sarah Cox, CCBE, Birth Doula
Sarah Cox is mother of two young daughters with a baby boy on the way. She became passionate about all things birth after finding out she was pregnant with her first. As a young adult cancer survivor, she wanted to ensure she was informed and educated about her options for birth. After the birth of her first daughter she became a DONA trained birth doula and has been attending birth since 2014. Sarah also completed Lamaze Childbirth Educator Training and is Certified through the Academy of Childbirth Educators and has been teaching Childbirth since 2016. She loves teaching and leaving her students with a greater sense of knowledge and community as they embark on their journey to parenthood.
Kim Guck, CD (DONA), CCCE, PCT2
Kim is certified childbirth doula, a certified childbirth educator, and a patient care technician at the Family Maternity Center of Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She has been attending births as a doula and teaching childbirth education for almost a decade. Her passion lies in helping families find their own voices and forming their own preferences for birth, as well as helping to prepare them for the postpartum period through support and education. She lives in Webster, NY with her husband Paul, their two children Spencer and Emery, and their flock of backyard chickens.
