Below is a list of our staff members operating out of our CNY Healing Arts Wellness Center and Spa that is located at 38A Old Sparrowbush Road, Latham, NY 12110. If you have any questions about our services or would like to speak with one of our practitioners please call 518.724.5750. Diane McFadden, Wellness Coordinator

Diane has been a member of the CNY team for a year and a half.  She assists both the Fertility center and Healing Arts Center.  Diane coordinates all events for the Healing Arts Center and leads the staff to make every client’s visit a personal healing experience.

Laurie Kimble, Wellness Coordinator

Laurie mostly recently joined the CNY Healing Arts team in January 2011. Her background is in business management which she studied for at the University of South Florida.  The last 4 years she has been managing the daily operations and development of Fusion Med Spa. She is excited to join the team in sharing several years of experience in the spa and hospitality industry.  Fusion Med Spa and CNY Healing Arts have joined forces to provide a unique wellness facility. Her med spa experience has assisted the Healing Arts in adding some additional services to their wellness menu. She looks forward to providing each client a memorable spa experience.    Laurie welcomes you to stop in at our Latham location to take time from your busy schedule to rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit.

Warren MacNaughton, LAc, MA, MSlathamwarren.gif

Warren studied Asian culture and philosophy at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and graduated with a B.A. in Anthropology in 1991. He developed an interest in alternative medicine while studying for his first Master’s Degree at St. John’s College in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 1996 he enrolled at Southwest Acupuncture College and by 1999 was a NCCAOM certified Diplomat of Acupuncture. Warren went on to further his studies with doctors in China, monks in Tibet and was certified in massage at Wat Po Medical School in Thailand in 2000.

Trained in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Chinese Medical Nutrition and Oriental Physical Therapy and Massage, Warren specializes in fertility, oncology, pain management, stress and anxiety disorders. He believes in the importance of preventative medicine and that keeping the body and mind balanced is the best way to avoid illness and ensure health and longevity. Warren joined the CNY team in Albany during the Spring of 2009 where he happily assists those on their path to wellness and fertility.

Rebecca Rice M.S., L.Ac.lathamrebeccarice2.gif

Rebecca is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and nationally certified to practice Acupuncture by the NCCAOM. Rebecca did her undergraduate studies at Indiana University, receiving a B.A. in 1998. She trained an additional 4 years and in 2002 was awarded a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington. Since 2002 Rebecca has been a part of the movement to bring natural medicine into mainstream clinics. Her areas of expertise are in the treatment of women’s health and infertility, pain, stress, anxiety, depression, immune support and digestive disorders. Rebecca has furthered her knowledge of infertility and Chinese medicine by studying with Randine Lewis PhD, L.Ac. and Dr. Mike Berkley L.Ac.; and continues study with longtime mentor, Lonny Jarrett M.S., L.Ac.

Rebecca brings a sense of warmth to the treatment room. She believes in forming a healing partnership through listening to patient needs and offering guidance to improve health holistically with Chinese medical nutrition, Chinese herbal medicine and lifestyle recommendations. She is pleased to be serving her community here at CNY.

Kristen is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas College with a B.S. in Recreational Therapy in 2000, then the Center for Natural Wellness- School of Massage Therapy in Albany in 2004. She has continued to further her education in Massage therapy with certifications in Maya Abdominal Therapy, Lymphatic Facilitation, Prenatal Massage, Reiki, and Reflexology. Along with these techniques, Kristen also uses several other modalities including Deep tissue, Myofascial release, Swedish and Sports Massages. She specifically targets each person’s needs and customizes the massage accordingly.

Stacey North, LMT

Stacey is a NYS Licensed Massage Therapist. She graduated from SUNY Morrisville with an Associates degree majoring in massage therapy in 2005 and shortly after obtained her National Certification in Theraputic Massage and Bodywork. Stacey focuses on Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy and Hot Stone massages. She believes in finding a balance between mind and body to promote overall health and happiness.

Kristen Cain, Licensed Massage Therapist
Kristen is a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist. She graduated from the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy in 2004. Kristen focuses on Swedish, deep tissue and pregnancy massage. She is also certified in Reiki and Craniosacral therapy.

Jolene Bleser, Licensed Esthetician

After graduating Catherine Hinds Institute for Advanced Aesthetics in 2001, Jolene dedicated her professional career to help clients with skin health concerns and to have an overall relaxing spa experience with results you can see and feel.  Her experiences working with a plastic surgeon and dermatologist, elite spas such as the Canyon Ranch, through ongoing education and knowledge in advanced products and treatments it is her goal to deliver results.  Jolene’s treatments are tailored specifically for individual’s needs and desires. She believes anyone can have beautiful skin.
NYS and MA Licensed Aesthetician, Certified Xtreme Lash Stylist, Certified Laser Specialist, Makeup Artist. Extensive knowledge in cosmeceuticals, especially Obagi Medical, Five Star Formulators, Vivite and Jane Iredale Mineral Makeup.

Sarah Engster, BA, Wellness Specialist

Sarah recently joined the CNY team after moving back to the area after living in Washington D.C. Sarah graduated from American University in 2008 with a Bachelors in Communications & Economics.  Sarah helps clients make appointments, recommends new treatments and creates an atmosphere of peace and healing during each client’s time with us.  It is her pleasure to welcome you to CNY Healing Arts and answer any questions you may have.

Isabelle Shepitka, Wellness Specialist

Isabelle joined CNY Healing Arts in October 2009 after taking a season off from her 20 year business career to raise her daughter.  Her experience lies in customer support and administration. Isabelle shares, “My joy comes from a passion to achieve wellness through natural methods and my heart for families who desire to be parents one day. I consider this position a true blessing!”

Kathleen Burnetter, Wellness Specialist

Kathy has been a member of the CNY team for 4 ½ years. You will find her during the day in the office of CNY Fertility Center on the first floor of our center. There she assists clients with insurance and medication needs. She joins us for several evenings in our retail check in station of the Latham Healing Arts as a Wellness Specialist. Kathy has been involved in the medical field for over 30 years. She enjoys the variety of her different jobs. She is one of the first faces you see when coming to CNY and delights in making our clients feel welcomed and informed. If Kathy doesn’t know the answer she will work hard to find it, so please feel comfortable asking for her guidance. It is her pleasure to help make your CNY experience easier on all levels.

Laura Wood, Wellness Specialist

Laura has been with CNY Healing Arts since 2009.  She is currently finishing her bachelor’s degree at Saint Rose in Communications, concentrating in marketing and public relations.  At the Healing Arts center, Laura focuses on the needs of clients, including recommending treatments and scheduling appointments, while also creating an atmosphere of peace and healing.  It is her pleasure to welcome you to CNY and make all your experiences with us ones to remember.

Amanda Murray, Wellness Specialist and Nail Technician

Amanda received her cosmetology license in 2009 from Albany Career and Technical School.  She is the nail technician and make up artist at the Healing Arts Center.  When she is not assisting clients in the nail room, she is helping them book their appointments and recommending treatments based on client needs.  Amanda helps to create an atmosphere of peace and healing during each client’s time with us.

Linda Hill, Certified Yoga Instructor

Yoga has been a passion of Linda’s since 1995. She is a Certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher receiving her training and certification from the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Stockbridge, MA; and Prenatal Yoga Teacher Certification from the Healing Tree Yoga & Wellness Center in Quincy, MA. Linda is also a Reiki Master and Teacher. She is a member of the Kripalu Yoga Teachers Association and a Registered Yoga Alliance Instructor. A devout practitioner and teacher, she continues her inspiration through advanced studies with renowned teachers. Her love for yoga is fondly expressed in her classes through a safe and nurturing atmosphere.
