Keri Walsh-McComb:

Keri has been practicing yoga for over 10 years.  Holistic wellness became her passion after an insightful and transformational year long journey at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in NYC and has led her to a career in yoga and nutrition.  Keri is a Registered Dietitian, with a Master’s Degree in Applied Nutrition and completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in 2009 at Frog Lotus in Costa Rica. She is a registered Yoga Alliance instructor. Keri has also studied with various renowned teachers of all yogic styles at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health and the Omega Institute. She is currently participating in a research study looking at alternative therapies and whether they can help to improve the management of diabetes among adults.  In addition to teaching yoga, Keri also works for Baby-Friendly USA helping to improve the health of moms and babies and to help improve maternity care practices in the United States.  She has also started a nutritional consulting business offering individual nutrition counseling and nutrition lectures. www.capitalregionnutrition.com

Yoga has provided Keri with equanimity between mind & body, enabling her to balance an active, busy lifestyle.  She truly believes in the healing and transformational ability yoga & nutrition provides and is so grateful for the opportunity to share her passion with others. Keri brings joy, fluidity, challenge and compassion to her teaching.
