We would like to share some exciting “Yoga News” with you all 🙂

Community Yoga Class, CNY Healing Arts Center1. Hot House Yoga this Friday and again on May 21st, from 6-8pm. This has become so popular that it fills up quickly so please pre-register.

2. Community Yoga Class, Tuesday, May 18th, 4-5:15pm
We are starting our first Community Yoga Class offering in this month. We welcome you to join us for this very special community minded yoga class. We offer this class to all. We ask that you pay what you can afford. It is a donation based class. If you can only afford to come with a smile on your face, then we welcome that as your donation and look forward to seeing you!! Join us in creating community and a beautiful space for yoga and creating balance in your life.

Workshops and Events in May
We have several workshops and events offered this month. We hope to see you at one or more that are of interest to you.

Meditation for Peace and Renewal, Saturday, May 15th, 1-4pm
Join Lynne Potteiger, for an afternoon of exploring how to find your center, achieve a greater sense of peace and discover the still small voice within.This class is designed for, but not limited to, those who are new to meditation. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring a journal. Class Fee – $25.*RSVP to CNY Healing Arts at 315.671.5755.

Yoga for Fertility Workshop, Saturday, May 29th, 1-3pm

Please join Cynthia Powers-Broccoli for this workshop that is designed for women or couples who are trying to conceive, either naturally or through assisted reproductive technology. Yoga for Fertility uses specific yoga practices to help stimulate and tone the reproductive system. No prior yoga experience is necessary. No cost. *RSVP to CNY Healing Arts at 315.671.5755.

Dr. Rob Kiltz, Director of CNY Healing Arts CentersEvents:
Dr. Rob Hosts a Movie Showing – What the Bleep?  Friday, May 14th, 8pm & Saturday, May 15th, 8pm
Dr. Rob loves this movie and wanted to create an event to offer it to everyone. The showing takes place at Auburn Public Theater. Cost $5 per ticket. Call 315.253.6669 for more info. Tickets $4 if purchased online at

evening and offer an interactive discussion on the topics that are brought up during the movie during a session right after the showing.

Men’s Day Retreat, Saturday, May 22nd, 11am-3pm

Dr. Rob is offering a men’s day Retreat at St. James Episcopal Church in Skaneateles, NY. Join Dr. Rob for a day of sharing community amongst men, creating better balance in your life and learning how to focus on the positives in life.

June Preview:
Aromatherapy Workshop with Bonita Shear Saturday, June 12th, 1pm
Takes place in the Healing Arts Yoga Studio. No cost to attend. *RSVP to CNY Healing Arts Center at 315.671.5755.

Farm Sanctuary trip on Saturday, June 26th.
Details:

  • Meet at Farm Sanctuary (Watkins Glen) at 10:45am. Tour starts at 11am
  • $3/adults, $1 for children under 12 – This event is open to everyone.
  • pack a lunch (vegetarian only)
  • Yoga, outside, after the tour (all level class)
  • Hang out afterwards, or enjoy the surrounding towns, parks or wineries, etc.
